The Error Made by the Falconets Which Eliminated Them From the U-20 Women's World Cup.

The U-20 Women's World Cup has been going on in Costa Rica for a while. Nigeria was not left out of the action as a team of young women represented the nation.

They had a wonderful run in the group stage as they won all group stage matches. Japan was the second nation to do so.

Few Hours ago, the Falconets faced Netherlands in the knock out stages of the U-20 Women's World Cup. This happened to be the end of their campaign as they lost 2-0 to a strong Netherland team.

We would like to note the error which can be attributed the cause of their elimination from the tournament.

Conceding First & Early to A Strong Team:

The Falconets should have come in with a high game plan knowing that Netherland would be a hard task for them.

The reverse was the case as they conceded the first goal after just 11 minutes. This does a lot to a team's confidence as they might get early signs of frustration and lose courage.

Defensive Error Against A Strong Team:

Danjuma should have known what his team was up against. Netherlands has been a strong team in the tournament which made this a task he should have prepared adequately for.

We noticed that both goals came in from defensive mistakes which were made by some Nigerian players. Zeta Hulswit and Ziva Henry scored the only two goals of the match which gave Netherlands the win.
