Four Manchester United players that could be absent from Manchester United squad in January.

 With the 2023 African Cup of Nations draw concluded on Thursday night in Abidjan, Cote D'Ivoire, four Manchester United players could potentially be jetting off to the Ivory Coast in January to participate in the 2023 African Cup of Nations tournament.

Here are the four Manchester United players that could be absent from Manchester United squad in January:

Andre Onana.

The Red devils are expected to be without their shot-stopper, Andre Onana who plays for the Cameroonian national team.

Andre Onana who joined Manchester United in the summer, announced his decision to reverse his international retirement in September, keeping a clean sheet on his return for the Indomitable Lions against Burundi.

Sofyan Amrabat.

Morocco, one of the highest ranked team at the tournament could select Manchester United on-loan midfielder, Sofyan Amrabat in their squad for the tournament.

Hannibal.

Manchester United midfielder who has represented the Carthage Eagles 26 times, will no doubt be hoping to make his mark at the 2023 African Cup of Nations tournament.

Amad.

The host nation, Ivory Coast may yet feature Manchester United attacker, Amad, who has been unavailable for the Red devils, since picking up an injury in the preseason. The 21 years old has represented Ivory Coast, four times.
