European football governing body UEFA have reacted after Manchester United football club announced that they've reached an agreement to sign Brazil national team star Antony from Netherlands Eredivisie League Champions Ajax Amsterdam football club.
The former Sao Paulo football game star has been seriously linked with a move away from Ajax Amsterdam football club since the beginning of the 2022 summer transfer window, and he has finally been signed by Manchester United FC.
The 22 years old had a remarkable spell with Ajax Amsterdam football club in the Netherlands Eredivisie League last season, and he was able to help the team to win the League title.
Manchester United football club have been able to sign a lot of players this summer transfer window, and they have decided to sign the highly rated Brazilian star.
Antony arrived in England on Monday and he had his medical at Manchester United football club immediately, and the club have now announced his signing after passing medical.
Reacting after Manchester United football club announced that they have signed Antony from Ajax Amsterdam football club, UEFA posted on their verified Twitter handle that;
"Manchester United football club reach agreement with Ajax for the transfer of Antony."
The youngster will now be looking forward to making his debut for Manchester United football club when they play Leicester City football club on Thursday night.
