Few moments ago, Manchester City locked horns with West Ham United in the English Premier League and it was a great game for Pep Guardiola and his men as they won the match 3-0 to boost their chances of winning the title.
Nathan Ake opened the scoreline for Manchester City in the 50th minutes and Norwegian Forward, Erling Haaland doubled City's lead 20 minutes later courtesy of a brilliant finish. Phil Foden then came off the bench to wrap things up for the host and it was quite an entertaining encounter.
One of the most talked about player after the game is Erling Haaland and that is because he has now broken the record for the most Premier League goals scored in a single season. The goal against West Ham United few moments ago was his 35th of the season and no player has ever scored that amount of goal in a single EPL season before.
The 22 Year Old was given a guard of honour by his Manchester City teammates and coaching staff after the game and it's absolutely amazing.
In the above photo, you could clearly see the moment when Haaland was given a guard of honour by his teammates and the coaching staff on his way to the tunnel and judging from the smile on his face, he seems really excited. He is really good at what he does and he's not showing signs of slowing down anytime soon.
