Liverpool key Players Set to miss Their next Game

Liverpool will travel to Austrian team LASK Linz on Thursday to start their quest for the Europa League championship after an undefeated start to the Premier League season.

The Reds dropped down to the continent's secondary league for the first time since 2015-16 after finishing fifth in the English top division for the 2022–23 season. There, they reached the final but lost to defending champion Sevilla.

With a 3-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday in the Premier League, Jurgen Klopp's team now has 13 points overall. In Group E, they will also face Toulouse and Union SG.

The most recent Liverpool injury and suspension updates are provided below ahead of their matchup with LASK, who defeated Bosnian team Zrinjski.

Trent Alexander-Arnold was forced to leave England duties prior to the break after suffering a hamstring injury in the Reds' victory over Aston Villa. The right-back's injury did not get better in time for him to play at Molineux either; although he is anticipated to start practicing with the ball this week, he is not anticipated to play on Thursday.

Due to his problematic hip issue, Thiago Alcantara has not been seen wearing a Liverpool jersey since April. He has yet to resume full training after a recent setback, so it could be another few weeks before the Spaniard returns to action.

Due to Virgil van Dijk's eligibility to play after serving a two-game domestic suspension, Liverpool will not have any suspended players for this encounter.
