NGA VS SAU: Nigeria Strongest XI Featuring Boniface & Osimehn In Attack To Ensure A Victory

The Super Eagles will face Saudi Arabia in a friendly match on Friday. The game is set to take place in Portugal on Friday, October 13, 2023. To that end, the Super Eagles training camp in Portugal is slated to open on Tuesday, with all 25 invited players likely to begin preparations.

However, according to recent reports, Taiwo Awoniyi and Ola Aina have both been ruled out of Saturday's game against Saudi Arabia due to injuries, and will be replaced by Tyronne Ebuehi and Umar Sadiq. This will undoubtedly be an interesting game.

* Team Forms

This will be the Super Eagles' second senior-level meeting with Saudi Arabia. In their first meeting, which was also a friendly game in 2010, the game ended 0-0. Well, Nigeria are in top form at the moment. The Jose Peseiro led team, secured a place in the AFCON 2023 in September after winning their last three qualification matches. They won 1-0 against Guinea Bissau, then 3-2 against Sierra Leone before smashing Sao Tome 6-0 in their final match. Saudi Arabia, on the other side, is in disarray, having lost their last six games. Given their recent form, the Super Eagles will undoubtedly enter this encounter as favourites.

* Here Is My Preferred Starting XI to Ensure Nigeria Defeat Saudi Arabia

Given how well his attacking options have performed this season, Nigeria Coach Jose Peseiro would have a difficult time selecting in that area. Victor Osimhen and Victor Boniface have all been in excellent form recently. I would advise him to adopt a 4-4-2 formation to ensure the Super Eagles win at home. In this formation, Osimehn and Boniface, who are in excellent form, would lead the team in attack.

I strongly believe this lineup will ensure we get a victory in Friday.
